Beginning of Brick by Boring Brick and Somebody Told Me?

Brick by boring brick by paramore and somebody told me by the
killers...doesn't the beginning sound kinda similar?! listen to the
instrumental part at the beginning! paramore just has more drums and
is a little faster, but is it just me or do they sound kind of
similar?!
